Before participating at Mister International
Netherlands 2014 Pageant, what did you do?
Working as a shipping agent for Eimskip,
an Icelandic shipping company, coaching people at the gym and off course
preparing myself for men’s physique contests.
Further I love to enjoy life. Going out
for dinner, walking the dog, make a walk on the beach, playing some music etc.
Tell us about your family!
I have a great family. We have lots of
fun with each other. Last month I even added my gorgeous girlfriend and dog to
our family, so we are complete now.
If you showed me around your country, where would you
take me?
I would definitely take you to the top
floor of the Tulip inn next to the Erasmus bridge. At night you’ll see this
amazing view of the Rotterdam Skyline. So if you want to marry someone, you
should do that.
Name one living person that inspires you!
Simple question.
This is by far Kai Greene.
His seminars
inspire me most to be at my best every single day.
If you could have dinner with Dutch famous person, who would
it be and why?
Gigi Ravelli. But that’s just because of
her looks and I want to know if she’s fun.

About same-sex marriage, support it or not? Explain why?
In my opinion
everyone need to do what he or she needs to do. If you’re happy with someone of
your own sex, don’t hide away. So yes, I support this.
If you were to be reborn, whom would you choose to be
born as: Mahatma Gandhi or Nelson Mandela? Why?
I cannot tell you an exact answer. We all
know what these people have achieved for mankind and they need to be honored
for their efforts. But I do not know if I could handle such a life they lived.
A very difficult question, and as I am still developing myself I cannot give
you an answer on this one right now.
Everyone has a mission in life. What do you think your
mission is?
I would not call it a mission. Life is a
more like a journey with lots of opportunities.
My goal is to teach people about fitness
and happiness, to travel for fitness and to make people see that fitness is the
solution to your problems.

Did you dream of becoming a Mister International?
I do not dream, dreamers are stuck in
their own imagination. I make things happen. If I want something I will think
about how to reach this goal. I do not dream about the moment of achieving, I
think about the journey how to do my utmost.
How did you prepare yourself for Mister International
Netherlands 2014?
At first, we are not done with the
preparation. We are all still in training and coached by Lyron Martina. I’ve
learned about how to pose and walk like a “Mister” which was a new and fun
experience to me. I myself was already preparing for another men’s physique
contest so my body is in a real good shape.
Among all the contestants, who do you think is your
strongest rival? (you have to mention one name!)
I think Ali and Lohrenz will have a good
chance of winning this contest. Their catwalk is great, they have good poses
and they are funny guys.
If you win Mister International Netherlands 2014, what
are your plans for the future?
We will go to Korea and after that trip I
will check the possibilities to move to America.
