Philippines wins its first Miss World Crown

Miss World 2013 is Miss Philippines, Megan Lynne Young.

Filipino American TV-host Actress and model, who is a member of ABS-CBN's Star Magic, MEGAN YOUNG, 23, is the winner of Miss World 2013 Beauty Pageant, beating out 126 other contestants from around the world at the show held on Saturday night at Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia.

Marine Lorphelin of France is the first runner-up, while Miss Ghana, Carranzar Shooter is the second runner-up. Contestants from Brazil, Spain and Gibraltar placed in the top 6. 

Miss Gibraltar, Maroua Kharbouch didn't make the top 20 but was voted into the top 6 automatically as the winner of the People's Choice Award. Fans could vote on the Miss World App and Gibraltar received the most votes.
