Malaysia crowned Evan Siau as Mister International Malaysia 2012. He will represent Malaysia for
Mister International in Bangkok this coming November. Standing at 186cm, this
26 years old multi talented guy is originally from Sabah.
Evan was born January 25,
1986 at Sabah. His full name is Evan Siau Verhyn. He went to Sabah Tshung Tsin
Secondary School. Evan studied vocal, organ, piano and music theory from the
age of 6. Evan was an active member of his school Choir where he participated
and performed in competitions all over Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
In 2002, Evan represented Malaysia to attend an “Outstanding Overseas Chinese
Students” program in China with others students from all over South-East Asia.
A recipient of numerous singing award, he was the president of Sabah Tshung
Tsin Secondary School Chinese Orchestra in 2004. In 2005, Evan went to
Australia to further his studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Music in
Music Theatre from the University of Tasmania. Evan relocated to Kuala Lumpur
in 2009 and starting his modelling and performing arts career. His stage
credits include Jewel Of Tibet, Dreamgirls (Malaysian Edition), The Magic
Mirror, Above Full Moon, The Moon Represents My Heart, Glitz and Glamour, I
Have A Date With Spring, Siddhartha The Musical, Kita The Musical, Once In A
Blue Moon, And The World Goes ‘Round, Pal Joey, Aspects Of Love, A Class Act,
Cats and Some Enchanted Evening. Evan also appeared in TV drama series such as
“Law Of Attraction(寂寞同盟)”, "浴女图", "庭外和解", "Iron Roses(铁玫瑰)",“Iron Lady(女头家)”, “Glowing Amber（炭香）”, “Romantic Delicacies(美食厨师男)”, “Age of Glory II(情牵南洋II)”, “Goodnight DJ II” and TV Commercial such as Astro Celestial.
